$5.00 to $6.00 a pie
It’ll be fall soon and as the chill sets in, there’s nothing better than a warm pot pie. Jay and I were wandering through Chelsea Market one weekend. Tired of the typical Manhattan burger, we came across the cozy Tuck Shop that serves up a variety of homemade pot pies.
I had one stuffed with lamb and vegetables. Jay went for one with juicy shredded steak. The latter had a bit more flavor, but oddly enough, paired with Asian sweet and sour sauces, made both really delicious. And if you’re a fan of brussel sprouts, they offer these guys up freshly roasted.
It’s not too often you come across Aussie food–in fact, I’m not 100% sure what Australian cuisine usually comprises. But if this is representative at all, I’ll have to try it out more often.
