So the International Restaurant and Foodservice Show was held at Javits Center a couple weekends ago. It was an amazing showcase of delicious cuisines and innovative products – all the up and coming items related to the business of food. From Italian gelato mix and fresh ginger pureed ale to beeper technology and eco-friendly to-go bags, it was a very enlightening gathering of the leaders in the space.
One particular zone seemed to be particularly popular. The “Taste of Japan” section exhibited an especially health-conscious theme. Even Wylie Dufresne seemed to be getting a guided tour of its booths! For more, read my post on Food Blog Culture.
